BatteryIQ ("the App") is a Windows desktop application developed by Bhoomin Naik ("we", "us", "our"). The App is designed to run locally on your device and operates entirely offline. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App accesses, how it is stored, and how it is (not) shared.
By installing or using BatteryIQ you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App.
BatteryIQ reads the following information from your device in order to provide its features:

All stored data is written to the App's local application data folder on your device (%LOCALAPPDATA%\BatteryIQ). No data is ever uploaded to a server, cloud service, or third party.

The App requires no internet connection to function and makes no outbound network requests during normal operation.
Session history, battery health snapshots, and brightness-correlation data are saved to a local SQLite database within the App's data folder. This data remains on your device and is accessible only to you and to BatteryIQ.
You can delete all stored data at any time by uninstalling BatteryIQ and removing the %LOCALAPPDATA%\BatteryIQ folder.
BatteryIQ does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data-collection services. The App does not display advertisements.
The App is distributed through the Microsoft Store. Microsoft's own privacy policy governs the installation and purchase process. We have no visibility into information Microsoft collects during distribution.
If you enable the "Launch at Startup" option, BatteryIQ registers a startup entry in Windows so it can begin tracking battery sessions from boot. This is a local system setting. No data related to this preference is sent anywhere. You can disable it at any time from within the App or from Windows Settings → Apps → Startup.
BatteryIQ does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). Because the App collects no personal data from any user, it does not present a risk to minors beyond any other local utility app.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of BatteryIQ after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
Because the App collects no personal data, policy changes are unlikely to affect your privacy in a material way.
